What is the French Revolution ?
The French Revolution is one period in the History of
France, in which the monarchy was overthrown and entire reconstructing was
forced upon the Roman Catholic Church and was regarded as one of history's
great turning point. This
significant event occurred between 1789 to 1799 with Louis XVI being the Kings
of France this meant that theoretically there were no constitutional limits on
his power to control over France. This era brought the end to the medieval
feudal system of land ownership in France and also eventually throughout
Europe. King Louis XVI needed more money, but had failed to raise more taxes
when he had called a meeting of the Estates General. This instead turned into a
protest about conditions in France.
